When most people hear the name HP Lovecraft, their mind goes to The Call of Cthulhu. Written in 1926 and published in the February 1928 issue of Weird Tales Magazine, it is, indisputably, his most noted work. Nearly 100 years later, this epic tale influences TV, Movies, Music, and gaming. I imagine that Lovecraft, himself, would be shocked by the impact this story has had through time.
I want to celebrate some of the other weird tales of HP Lovecraft, the tales that may not enjoy the recognition that Cthulhu has, but nonetheless, have influenced and helped to grow the horror genre. Readers were first introduced to these stories on the cheapest of paper with quality so low, the wood pulp could be seen between the words. I want to give Lovecraft's words a place more befitting of their continued importance to our culture.
The Stories included are:
The HOUND
The MOON BOG
PICKMAN'S MODEL
The OUTSIDER
TheHAUNTER of the DARK
TheUnnamable
The Silver Key
